Dr. Andrea Gonzales Honored with 2024 Feather in Her Cap Award

This week, Dr. Andrea Gonzales, Vice President of Global Companion Animal Therapeutics at Zoetis, was awarded the prestigious 2024 Feather in Her Cap Award for her leadership and contributions to the animal health industry and her record of mentoring women and helping them advance their careers in science and research and development.
A Scientific Trailblazer
Since joining Zoetis in 2007, Dr. Gonzales has focused on building an innovative R&D pipeline for animal health therapeutics. Under her guidance, her teams achieved first-in-class approvals for products like Apoquel® and Cytopoint® for canine dermatitis, and recently, Solensia™ and Librela™ for managing osteoarthritis pain in cats and dogs. Commitment to Mentorship for the Next Generation

For more than 10 years, she has volunteered her time and talents mentoring local high school students, and previously served as a coach with Girls on the Run International, and as a science instructor.”
2024 High Flyer Award
Among the prestigious nominees for the 2024 High Flyer Award was Elizabeth Creveling, Senior Director of Inclusion and Engagement at Zoetis. Elizabeth was recognized for her creative and empathetic approach, which paved the way for the launch of the Zoetis DEI education platform. Elizabeth has not only championed DEI initiatives within Zoetis but has also played a crucial role in advancing our customers' DEI endeavors and collaborating with the community to drive positive change.

The winner of the 2024 High Flyer Award was Dr. Katharina Bohnenblust, Senior Director, Head of Formulation Development at Elanco.
