The Wall Street Journal’s Best-Managed Companies of 2022

Zoetis was named to the annual Management Top 250 list published by The Wall Street Journal. The Drucker Institute created this list of best-managed companies to assess corporate effectiveness by examining performance in five areas: customer satisfaction, employee engagement and development, innovation, social responsibility, and financial strength.  The Drucker Institute, founded by the influential management consultant and researcher Peter Drucker, defines overall effectiveness as “doing the right things well.” 

The ranking includes U.S. companies whose shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange or the Nasdaq Stock Market and meet value and prominence criteria. The list assessed the top 902 publicly traded companies in the United States, with Zoetis ranking #143 this year, its first time appearing on the WSJ list (Zoetis was ranked #283 on the Drucker Institute list in 2021).
