With new equipment, larger capacity, and state-of-the-art technology, this new facility will serve clinics and Distributor partners and will be a hub for other distribution centers, sending shipments out to other sites to support major product lines such as Simparica Trio®, Apoquel ®, Librela ®, Solensia ®, and Vanguard ®. More than 50 employees currently work at the distribution center, with the potential for new job creation in the years to come.
Zoetis’ history in Lee’s Summit dates back to 1972 when Pfizer opened a manufacturing site with warehousing and distribution capabilities. In 2013, Pfizer announced its animal health business would become a standalone company called Zoetis, now the world leader in pharmaceuticals for livestock and companion animals.
